Thailand Assistant Director of Mobilization

The role is based out of Thailand.

The purpose of the Assistant Director of Mobilization is to work with the Director of Mobilization to inform, inspire, and involve people to become more involved in Buddhist missions. The metric to focus on is the number of people we have identified, brought to the field, then helped them begin serving the Buddhist world as a full-time missionary. This ministry role is full-time and support-raising is required. The Assistant Director of Mobilization has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Mobilization to identify new ways to get people interested in missions.
  • Track the stats of all mobilization programs to present to the Director of Mobilization and team meetings.
  • Work with the Vision Trip Coordinator to assist on Vision Trips regularly, seek ways to improve the program, and find ways to get more interested participants.
  • Work with the Mission Trip Coordinator to assist on Mission Trips regularly, seek ways to improve the program, and find ways to get more interested churches.
  • Work with the International Mobilization Coordinator to find new strategies to mobilize people to Buddhist missions.
  • Work with the Internship Coordinator to set up more internship opportunities, continuing to make the program stronger.
  • Work with the Next Steps Coordinator to improve upon the methods to connect people to the field full-time.
  • Work with the Prayer Coordinator to find creative ways to pray for more laborers, how to get more people to pray, and how to pray for our team.

Required Qualifications

  • Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith
  • Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17; Col 3:16-17)
  • Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others (Eph 4:15)
  • Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking (Heb 10:24-25)
  • Must function well both independently and in a team environment (1 Cor 12:25-26)
  • Must be able use or learn internal communications and technology systems (Email, Google Drive, Slack, CRM, etc.)
  • Must complete GFM's Missionary Training School or Online Missionary Training School.

Since GFM’s mission is to make Jesus known, all staff members must be committed and be able to implement that mission.
